Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Students from our full-time advanced diploma in Interior Design course ADID08 intake, met at Ion on Orchard Road to take a look at design elements making up the newly opened shopping complex.Students were reminded of the 5 important elements of interior design; floor finishes, wall treatments, ceiling treatments, lighting selection, and furniture selection. After instructors showed them one or two examples on the ground floor, they were told to spread out and capture images illustrating the various elements of interior design.
From high-end retail displays, to LED lit fish swimming across the ceilings of a promenade, to the "Victorian-Zoo" themed food court in the lower levels, students had a lot to present and analyze come Friday's class.
